Ballyea GAA Club would like to extend sympathy to the family of Michael Hynes. Co. Clare GAA Communities and beyond have been left shocked and saddened at the sudden passing of Whitegate Senior Hurler Mikey Hynes RIP.

An outpouring of sadness has been felt across GAA circles at the untimely passing of such a talented young man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his parents, sisters, extended family and Whitegate GAA Club at such a sad time.

There will be a minutes silence at all Clare GAA matches this weekend as a mark of respect to Mikey.
