Hi everyone,
We’re really delighted to see so many of you enjoying the new walkway, it’s exactly what we hoped for when it was put in place.
Thank you for making great use of the space.
However, we’ve recently noticed an increasing number of dogs being taken onto the main pitch and, unfortunately, leaving their mess behind. Just to be very clear:
Dogs are very welcome on the walkway, but dogs are NOT allowed on the pitch at any time.
This rule is there for a very important reason. The pitch is where our teams & children train every week. Dog fouling is not only unhygienic, it can be genuinely dangerous for the kids.
For example, children can pick up harmful bacteria or parasites from the mess on their hands, shoes or kit, which can lead to illness.
We know the vast majority of our members are responsible and respectful, so we’re asking everyone to please:
• Keep dogs off the pitch completely
• Clean up after your dog immediately if they go on the walkway
• Politely remind others if you see dogs on the grass
A quick scoop and a bin (or take it home) makes a huge difference.
We want everyone – kids, families, dog owners, and players – to enjoy the club facilities safely and happily. Your cooperation on this will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much for looking after our club.
