Ballyea have won the Division 4 Junior A league title after a brilliant final 2-18 to 3-11 win in the final over O’Callaghan’s Mills tonight.

The win means that the lads have won promotion to next year’s intermediate league.

Ballyea had raced into an early 1-3 to 0-1 but the Mills then struck for two goals in quick succession to go into a 2-3 to 1-4 lead, but Ballyea responded brilliant  to go in a point ahead at the half-time break, 1-10 to 2-6.
