The clash of the champions is nearly upon us as 2016 Clare and Munster kingpins Ballyea take on 2015 and 2013 county champions Sixmilebridge on Saturday evening in what is roundly considered the most attractive fixture of Round Two of the senior county hurling championship.
Cusack Park is the venue, with throw-in at 7pm, with the prize a spot in the quarter-final round, whereas the loser will be into a dogpit of Round Three, facing a team coming off a victory in one of this weekend's backdoor games.
The Ballyea crowd was a major factor in the club's march all through Clare and Munster last year and all the way to Croke Park and the club are again looking for your support to help drive the boys on in what is bound to be one of the standout club games of the year.
