2016 county champions Ballyea have been drawn to play 2015 county champions Sixmilebridge in the second round of the Clare SHC.

Also paired together in the winners side of the draw made this evening: Doora-Barefield v Newmarket, Whitegate v Eire Og and Inagh-Kilnamona v Clonlara.

In the losers group Cratloe have been paired against Crusheen, Clarecastle will face Tulla, Feakle will play Clooney-Quin and O’Callaghan’s Mills will meet Wolfe Tones, the side Ballyea defeated in Round 1.

Meanwhile in the football draw Clondegad have been drawn to play neighbours and rivals Lissycasey.
