GER LOUGHNANE has been added to the star-studded line-up for tonight’s Clare FM Up for the Match live special from the West County Hotel.

The show goes on the air at 8pm but members of Ballyea and the general public are encouraged to get there when or shortly after doors open at 7.30 as Derrick Lynch and Syl O’Connor will be interviewing a wide range of personalities within the club and Clare GAA in general, such as current Clare joint manager Gerry O’Connor, Brendan Bugler, Clare FM resident analyst Tommy Guilfoyle and the Doora-Barefield triumvirate of Seanie McMahon, Jamesie O’Connor and Christy O’Connor.

And a little after 9pm, the legendary Loughnane will be joining the show to add his wit and insight into a game that is widely anticipated by the entire county.

Please note, children are more than welcome to attend, but parents are to be mindful that the show could stretch to approximately 9.45pm, and possibly even 10pm.

The Clare FM team successfully staged a similar programme in The Local Inn on the eve of Ballyea’s Munster club final win over Glen Rovers, and this evening’s show will likewise feature music, competitions and other forms of entertainment.

Among the prizes on the night will be two complementary tickets to Friday’s All Ireland final double bill in Croker.
