Ballyea GAA Club Day

Ballyea GAA had its annual Club Day this year on Sunday 13th September. Despite the pouring rain it turned out to be a great success. The day started with mini blitzes for the U6’s in camogie and hurling and the parish league finals took place for the U8’s and U10’s. There was also an Over 40’s hurling match and the day finished up with the Ladies camogie match. A (wet!) bouncy castle and an obstacle course provided extra entertainment for the younger folk and a barbeque kept everyone fed. A special thanks to Seamus Jennings and Paul Crowe for supplying their equipment. Thanks also go to Brian Gooney for supplying his music system on the day. Donations made by the Over 40’s and Ladies’ teams will be passed on to St Vincent de Paul.
