After our seniors victory on Sunday our club now lies in 11th position out of a total of 23 clubs in the county senior club hurling roll of honour To put this in context we now have more titles than great and respected clubs such as Clonlara Cratloe Crusheen Kilmaley and Wolfe tones and all won in only the last 7 campaigns it is truly an extraordinary and almost unbelievable achievement so in this glorious hour of victory it is most important that we give great thanks and extend much gratitude to all the players mentors club officers committee members and supporters who kept the club going down through the years WE ARE FOREVER IN YOUR DEBT and perhaps the best way we can express that thanks and gratitude here is by rephrasing the quote of the 17th century writer Issac Newton “ we can see further because we are standing on the shoulders of giants “ UP BALLYEA BY 4
